Little Korea opened in Del Monte Center in May 2025. The work started nearly two years before — sourcing grills, refining recipes, getting the kimchi exactly right.
“I wanted Monterey to taste the Korea I grew up with — not something from a jar.”
Every batch of kimchi is fermented in-house. Banchan rotates with the season. And every table has its own grill.
The Grill
Plates come out raw. You sear, you flip, you eat. Then you do it again. Press the bell when you want another round — that's the whole loop.
Banchan
Spinach, sprouts, radish, omelet — and Ms. Kim's kimchi. Banchan comes out the moment you sit down, and refills are always free.
